Computer basic details
If you want to know “Best way to increase your computer speed” then first you need to know basic knowledge about the computer.
A computer consists of four major parts: the input, output, CPU (central processing unit), and memory. Input consists of anything you will add to the computer (microphone, keyboard, mouse, scanner), and output is how the computer gives back to you (think screen, speakers, etc.). The CPU or central processing unit is located on the motherboard and is the part of the computer where all that input/output information gets sent to the proper place. Memory, commonly referred to as RAM (random access memory), as you may already know, is where the information is stored.
There are three major pieces of hardware in a computer. The motherboard is the most important part of a computer and contains many subsystems such as the central processor (CPU), input/output chips as well as memory and application controllers. An Expansion Card fits into the expansion slot in a computer and is where you can add additional capabilities such as video or graphic performance. Finally, and very importantly, is the power supply that supplies electric power to the electrical load of a computer.

Which things reduce my computer speed?
There is a lot of work going on in our computer that we are doing more and more every day which reduces the computer speed so you can know here “how to boost speed”. Keeping too many applications running on the computer and installing the application unnecessarily or for some other reason our computer starts to work slowly starts to hurt and there can be many reasons for this, many of which are listed below.
- Additional application,
- An application that is taking up large space,
- Running background application,
- Temporarily occupied space,
- C drive,
How to to fix that
For 6 points which are mentioned above, it reduces the computer speed. So, we will give a solution to How to increase computer speed, please check the below solution.
1.Uninstall unnecessary application
According to computer users and the default computer system, computers have a lot of software/applications that are already there that are not needed and slow down the computer by taking up extra space. And to speed up the computer, delete or uninstall this unnecessary application/software.
Example: 3D Builder, 3D Viewer, Print 3D, Sticky Notes, Snip & Sketch, Xbox One Smart lass, Fitbit Coach, Weather, Xbox Live, And more.
2. Application which is taking large space
Many software/applications are taking up more space in the computer and even due to this software the speed of your computer decreases. Such software should be installed according to the capacity of the computer if you want to take up more space in the computer and run more high-level software. It should be installed only if it has the capacity because such software slows down your computer.
If your computer cannot handle large software then such software should be ignored or removed and if it is already installed then it should be uninstalled and removed.
And after uninstalling the unneeded software, you should go to your computer’s main drive (default C drive) and delete the file of that software.
After you removed a larger application and then you get the best speed then you are right place where we have told you the “how to increase computer speed” blog.
3. Running background application
There is a lot of software running in the background on our computer which also slows down the speed of our computer so to boot the speed of our computer the software running in the background should be disabled but the software that is needed the computer can disable it. Should not.
Many software takes more process and space in the background due to which the speed of our computer is low, so such software should be disabled.
4. Temporarily occupied space
Every time we turn on the computer our computer creates a file/folder for a while which clears it in the computer every day, every two weeks, every month, and every two months.
So it is necessary to delete such a file/folder from which there is space in your computer and create a temporary file of the necessary work software.
You can do this by using the following shortcut key to delete the file. If you have no idea about shortcut keys, you can check out our blog about shortcut keys in which we have listed all the shortcut keys.
– Press two keys from the keyboard(Window + R).
– Then write “%temp%” and then click on the Ok button or press enter key.
– Select all folders and delete them.
5. C drive
C drive is the main drive of your computer, from which your computer’s running software and important computer data are stored. So to store such data, there should be more space in the C drive so that your C drive will be empty and never full. Our computer will work with Boost Speed as soon as our C Drive is empty.
Trash contains a deleted file/folder which is stored in a C drive, so when you delete a file/folder, it should also be removed from Trash, leaving your computer’s C drive empty. The more C drives you run, the faster your computer will run. So empty your computer’s trash as much as Thai.
